We believe in the power of prayer. Prayer is the sustaining force in the Christian’s life that has encouraged us and led us forward in our desire to glorify Him through this process. Here's what we asked you to pray for during the process...we have seen God move in our midst.

Spend a few moments now praising Him for His goodness and grace.

The Future Senior Pastor

• Pray for the man whom God has already chosen to be our next Senior Pastor.
• Pray that God would give him a clear sense of calling to our congregation.
• Pray for the current congregation and church staff where he serves today and for the transition they will go through as he pursues his calling.
• Pray for his family as they support him in his call to ministry.

The Candidates

• Pray that God will make clear His will in the lives of all those who have decided to submit their resume for consideration.
• Pray that the candidates will be strong in serving the Lord wherever they are currently serving.

The Pastor Search Team

• Pray for the Pastor Search Team that God would give them wisdom as they seek to discern His choice for Senior Pastor.
• Pray for the team members that God would protect them spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
• Pray for the spouses of the team members as they provide support in the time away that the team members will require during the process.
• Pray for the children of the team members that they will see God honored in the way their parents approach this opportunity to serve Him.

The Church

• Pray that God would continue to work in marvelous ways through the ministry of Crossview during the interim period.
• Pray for our Interim Pastor, Rev. Van Kicklighter, as he preaches the Word and serves the body of Christ during this time.
• Pray for our Elders and other church leaders as they take on additional responsibilities while we wait on God to reveal His future leader.
• Pray for our members and attenders that God would use this time to reveal His character and strength to all.
• Pray for continued focus on our church’s vision and values.

Our Community

• Pray for our community partners as they patiently wait for us to call a pastor.
• Pray for those in our community who need to discover the hope of Jesus Christ.
